About Me

For as long as I can remember, creativity has been the current running through my life. Recently, my self-portraits have become a space for exploration, guided by intuition and a deep connection to my inner world.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Blending my design expertise with my artistic vision allows me to create work that is both compositionally balanced and rich with storytelling.

Although we believe we guide ourselves from one place to the next, there is always a pull beyond us—an unseen force shaping the ground between where we stand and where we are going.

In that in-between space live the hardships, the uncertainty, the moments of realization, and the hope that threads them together.

Here, we learn unity—not by choosing what is good or rejecting what is bad, but by embracing all that is, and finding our place within it.

Cone

Sitting on a cone and the different angles of the body represent my achievements and hardships that came with it.

There will always be imperfections and awkwardness even at your best moments.

Experiencing your best moments can also lead to confusion and emotional strife.

There’s a rhythmic beauty to the bitterness that comes with the sweetness.

Woven

The concept for my art was in the midst of the pandemic. I had no one other than myself to photograph. Facing myself away from the world symbolizes my contribution to the world. Mapping out my life is demonstrated through weaving myself together in my art… clothing myself with my own skin fabric.
